Jay Leno Show Reviews
The long awaited "Jay Leno Show" premiered last night to mixed reviews.Most critics agreed the episode was very similar to his work on the "Tonight Show" but that the celebrity guests felt more forced.
Jay Leno's new show, titled The Jay Leno Show, debuted on September 14, 2009.It was announced at the Television Critics Association summer press tour that it will feature one or two celebrities, the occasional musical guest, and keep the popular "Headlines" and "Jaywalking" segments, which will now air near the end of the show.
Debut of NBC-Wire-high 10-Hour Law comedy show was watched by 18.4 million viewers and drew a 5.3 national adults 18-49 rating. It is 39% stronger in adults show that the classification of household final national "debut Conan O'Brien" Tonight Show "in June (9.2 million viewers and 3.8 adults 18 -49 rating), and 56% more than Leno final Tonight Show May (11.9 million viewers, 3.4).
"It was great to have him back," said NBC Universal CEO Jeff Zucker at the annual Goldman Sachs Communacopia Conference.

Zucker said advertiser response to Leno has "actually been quite good" even though he acknowledged that the Leno show has not commended the same rates as a successful one-hour drama would.
